🍽️ Catering Agreement Terms

These Catering Agreement Terms (“Agreement”) outline the expectations, responsibilities, and understanding between the client (“Customer”) and Mi Amor Pupusas (“Provider”) for catering services.
1. Services Provided
Mi Amor Pupusas will provide food items and related services as agreed upon in writing or electronically between both parties.
Service availability may vary based on scheduling and capacity.
2. Booking & Confirmation
A catering request is only considered confirmed when:
Details are agreed upon by both parties, and
A deposit or confirmation (if required) is received.
Mi Amor Pupusas reserves the right to decline or cancel catering requests due to scheduling conflicts, staffing limitations, ingredient availability, or other operational reasons.
3. Menu & Changes
Menu options must be finalized prior to the event.
Changes requested after confirmation may not be guaranteed and may affect pricing.
4. Pricing & Payment
Pricing will be provided in writing prior to confirmation.
Payment terms, deposits, and remaining balances must be completed as agreed.
Failure to pay may result in cancellation of services.
5. Cancellations
Customers must notify Mi Amor Pupusas as soon as possible if cancellation is required.
Refunds or credits will be handled on a case-by-case basis depending on timing, preparation already completed, and ingredient costs.
6. Food Handling & Pickup/Delivery
Food will be prepared and provided in accordance with common safe-handling practices.
Once food is delivered or picked up, the Customer is responsible for maintaining proper storage and serving conditions.
Mi Amor Pupusas is not liable for food mishandling after transfer to the Customer.
7. Allergies & Dietary Needs
Customers are responsible for informing Mi Amor Pupusas of any allergies or dietary restrictions prior to confirmation.
Failure to provide this information releases Mi Amor Pupusas from liability related to allergic reactions.
8. Liability
Mi Amor Pupusas is not responsible for:
Delays due to traffic, weather, or unforeseen events
Damages caused by guests, equipment misuse, or venue issues
Illnesses arising from food handled improperly post-delivery
9. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Illinois unless otherwise specified.

Corn
Cheese
Pork
Beef
Chicken
Beans
Vegetables
Spices
Oils
Other common food ingredients
Although care is taken to maintain good practices, cross-contact may occur in shared preparation environments.
11. Customer Responsibility
Please notify Mi Amor Pupusas of any allergies, sensitivities, or dietary restrictions BEFORE placing an order.
Failure to disclose allergies may result in increased risk for the customer.
Mi Amor Pupusas is not liable for allergic reactions when information was not communicated prior to ordering.
